Brigadier General Zateb Kazim was the main villian in the book Sahara. He was the ruler of half of Africa and was in

leauge with Yves Massarde and wanted Dirk Pitt and Al Girodino so he could question and keep them captive. In the book he was shot in the back of the head through the rear screen of his car. In the film adaption of Sahara he was killed when his helicopter exploded when Dirk fired a cannon ball at Kazim's helicopter. He was the owner of the Avion Voisin the Pitt Sr. accuries.
